Lovely train ride to Beacon, saw magical rainbow clouds, and saw fabulous art by incredible artists. Also there are Sol Lewitt, Joseph Beuys, Robert Smithson, fun interactive work by Franz Walther, and so so so so many more!

We Made New Friends at Mildred's Lane

We made new friends with a toad and finally met the famous Mr. Salty (turtle). We got to feed him and watch him try bite our fingers through the glass.

Now a Part of Mildred's Lane

We collected leaves, flowers, and twigs, then preserved them with wax. So fun! We helped build a bouquet for one of the resident artist. We are now part of Mildred's Lane!

They fed us mouth watering amazing home cooked meals. Everything fresh fresh fresh! Then fresh baked pie with tea! What a treat! It was so fabulous!

We have been so lucky to be able to spend a day at Mildred's Lane and get a tour by the magnificent 

J. Morgan Puett.  This magical place is an artist collaborative/ living museum started by J. Morgan Puett and Mark Dion.  We learned about the history of the place. We got to see all the art in action, lovely houses, the farm, learned fascinating facts about bees and queen bees (Morgan comes from generations of beekeepers and her brother shared some of his knowledge about bees and breeding queen bees), hooshing, and so much more. We are so grateful to experience the beauty and the creativity in the place. We said a thousand times over it is literally heaven on earth. We want to go back!!!
