A Day at Chelsea-George Adams Gallery

Walking through the Highline listening to the Sound Art Installation

We had the wonderful opportunity to meet the generous and charming George Adams from the George Adams Gallery in Chelsea. The gallery is currently having an exhibition of the artists Robert Arneson, Joan Brown, Roy DeForest, Peter Saul, and William T. Wiley. While meeting with George Adams, he  gave us advice and shared great stories with us of his experience of being a gallery owner. Afterwards, we walked through the renovated High Line Park.

Jaume Piensa at Madison Square Park

Madison Square Park is only a couple blocks away from our home.  You can get fantastic food at the Shake Shack and look at Jaume Piensa's work while hanging out in the park and watching the dogs at the dog park. Don't let the artwork fool you...it is not a hologram.

United Nations

After the Japan Society, we stopped over to see the United Nations and saw the Republic of Korea! Yay!

Japan Society

Captivated by the humorous and enchanting video by Hiraki Sawa

We went to the Japan Society to see the praised works at Bye Bye Kitty!!! show. It was spectacular!! The works in the exhibition were stunning. We fell in love with a video of animated objects by Hiraki Sawa. This show is a must see!

5Ptz

After the MOMA PS1 we stopped by 5Ptz a  five-story and block-long industrial complex that has turned into a graffiti museum. 5Ptz has connected artists from across the world. It was amazing to see!
